The Annali della Classe di Scienze and the Annali della Classe di Lettere e Filosofia marked the beginning of publishing activity at the Normale. First published in 1871 and 1873, respectively, the two journals today represent the meeting point from which publish the research carried out at the Scuola Normale in both the humanistic and scientific fields. Present in all the most important Italian and foreign libraries, universities and cultural institutes, they have rightly earned their fame as important specialist journals while contributing to spread the name of the Normale among scholars.
