Equal Opportunities Committee
The Scuola Normale Superiore recognizes the principle established in Art. 21 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, promulgated in 2000, according to which “any discrimination based on any ground such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation shall be prohibited.”
The Scuola Normale guarantees the observance of the above-referenced principle with all means at its disposition.
The Scuola Normale undertakes to fully implement the principle of equal opportunity of work and study as per Art. 1, paragraph 6 of its Statute, adopting any means effective to avoid behaviour which may be harmful to the dignity and/or personal and professional qualities of individuals.
