Institutional Life
The institutional aim of the Scuola is to promote the development of culture, teaching and research in the sciences and the humanities. This particular purpose is achieved by exploring the interconnections between those two areas. This important aim is also obtained by a highest level of university and post-university education, in connection with a continuing and recurring formation, giving priority to the relation between education and research.
The final purpose of the Scuola is to transmit the acquired abilities to the public administration and to the world of professions.
The Scuola works in order to single out and cultivate both the talent and the quality of its students by providing an education that aims to the development of the individual potentialities and capacities through the commitment of the professors to follow the course of growth of every student. In accordance with its public role the Scuola has a lay and pluralistic nature. The Scuola guarantees the respect of the principles of freedom of both expression and teaching and it assures the full realization of the principle of the equal opportunities both in the work and in the study.
