Research Activity:
I am a theoretical condensed matter physicist working mainly on many-
body physics in condensed matter systems.
During my Ph.D. studies I focused most of my work on two-dimensional
electron liquids and ultracold atomic gases confined in low-
dimensional geometries.
Soon after finishing my Ph.D., I became interested in ferromagnetic
(Ga,Mn)As semiconductors, many-body effects in spin-orbit-coupled
systems and in spin-polarized transport, and in pseudospintronics.
Since October 2006 I have been working on electron-electron
interaction effects in single- and double-layer graphene.
