The Normale is promoting an initiative for university orientation for high school pupils: Alla Normale anche tu.It consists of a series of afternoon meetings in some of Italy's main cities.
The initiative is aimed in particular at students of the last three years of high school and their teachers. No particular grade average is required to take part. During the meetings, you will be informed of how the Scuola Normale works, its various faculties and the subjects you can study there, the characteristics of its study course, the collegial lifeon which it is based and the opportunity to study at no charge whatsoever. The admission competition will also be explained: how it works, how to prepare for it and what it looks for in the assessment of the students attemptingit.
The meetings will be attended by lecturers and personnel of the Normale, but above all by students, who will be talking about their experience. The meetings will be divided into two parts. The first part will be dedicated to a presentation of the Normale meant for the entire audience; in the second part, students will be divided into smaller work groups to encourage greater interaction.
Access to the meetings is free of charge and can be booked by interested students and teachers via the enrolment form at this page. Students not accompanied by their teachers can, if they wish, come with their parents, who can book a place using the same form. Remote connection is available should the places in person run out, or for students of the province or the region who are not able to attend the meeting in person.
Students attending the meetings will be issued with an attestation of participation, which, at their discretion, their schools may use for the purposes of the PCTO (Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali).
Please note!Schools or regional school groups not covered by the meetings in person may, if they have a good number of students interested, book an online meeting by writing to the following e-mail addresses:
