In its first phase of elaboration, digital philology often claimed to conceive itself as the bearer of a new paradigm in the study of texts and manuscript traditions. The main theoretical formulations will be examined, comparing them with some experiments carried out on Italian and Romance texts, in order to investigate the methodological implications of such an alleged paradigm shift.

Obiettivi formativi

Learning philology, developing interpretation competences, dealing with digital humanities.
