Prerequisites

Master students. Also open to Ph.D. students of Chemical, Physical and Biological disciplines.

Programme

The course will be organized into a first module which will deal with the fundamentals of pharmaceutical chemistry, and a second module devoted to the most widely used computational methods for drug discovery.

Educational aims

The course aims to provide the conceptual foundations of the physical chemistry of drug-receptor interactions, drug discovery, and of the most widely used methods for the in-silico design of new drugs.
