Study periods abroad

Students who intend to spend a period of study abroad must indicate in their study plan the courses they intend to take at the university they have chosen, replacing the internal ones and the university ones.

In the case of Erasmus study periods, the aforementioned activities are included in the Learning Agreement. Students must autonomously make arrangements with their Erasmus co-ordinators of the University of Pisa regarding recognition of the activities carried out at the University; the recognition of the activities valid for the fulfilment of internal obligations will be carried out by the Scuola on the basis of the approved study plan.

Study plan and lecturers of reference

Every student of the undergraduate courses must submit for approval to the Student’s Office, by 30 November 2018, an organic study plan that respects the course obligations described above. The courses must be included in the study plan in their full articulation: for the fulfilment of the teaching obligation, it is not admitted to add courses and integrative teaching activities envisaged by different courses.

Generally speaking, the courses that are intended for the postgraduate syllabus can, under the responsibility of the lecturer of reference for the study plans, be included in the study plans of the students of the undergraduate courses with reference to their particular study pathways and with regard to the specific syllabus of each area.

The study plan must be agreed upon with the students' internal lecturer of reference; the lecturer of reference for the study plans of the subject area will verify the appropriateness of the proposed study path, before its definitive approval by the Faculty Council.
