Syllabus

The cours will focus on the dialectal poetry written in Padua between XVth and XVIth century, before and during the career of Angelo Beolco il Ruzante (1496 ca. - 1542), the most important playwright of italian Renaissance.

 

Educational goals:
The cours aims to provide a conceptual and historical frame to place the phenomenon of literature in dialect during the italian Renaissance, with particular regard to northern Italy.
