The General Secretary also performs the duties envisaged by the regulations in force concerning the management of the Public Administration and the adoption of the relative deeds and provisions, with the exception of those for which the managers are responsible.
The role of General Secretary is assigned by the Board of Directors, upon the proposal of the Director, to a person with a high professional qualification and proven multi-year experience of managerial duties. The appointment is under conditions of regular employment, has a duration not exceeding four years and is renewable.
The General Secretary may appoint a Deputy General Secretary who assists him in his duties and replaces him in case of absence or impediment.
