Orientation towards the Humanities Admission Competition

 The Scuola Normale is organizing a series of online meetings specifically aimed at students in their final year of high school (open also to anyone in the last three years of high school) who are interested in
exploring the humanities from a methodological and critical perspective and/or participating in the admission competition for the Faculty of Humanities of the Scuola Normale.
There will be methodological meetings aimed at introducing critical ways of reading and analysing classics, literary texts, philosophical works, works of art, and historical sources, and creating an awareness and aptitude towards essays and criticism, among other things.

At these meetings, tutors will also present the admission tests of the different humanistic disciplines offered at the SNS, analyse the exam syllabi and past examination papers, and answer questions from students.

The structure and contents of the meetings might vary slightly depending on the different disciplinary demands .
