Andrea Felicetti is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Scuola Normale Superiore. In 2014, he earned his PhD at the School of Politics and International Relations (Center for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance), Australian National University. Before taking is current position, Andrea has worked in research centers in Australia, University of Canberra (Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis); France, University of Lille 3 (CeRIES); Italy, European University Institute and Scuola Normale Superiore (COSMOS); Belgium, UC Louvain (Hoover Chair) and KU Leuven (Center for Political Research).
He is the author of Deliberative Democracy and Social Movements (2016, Rowman & Littlefield International) and co-author of Discursive Turns and Critical Junctures (2020, Oxford University Press)Andrea has published in international academic journals including Science, Journal of Politics, European Journal of Political Research, Social Movement Studies and Journal of Business Ethics. Besides being involved in several international research networks, Andrea is the PI of the project Social movements as agents of democratization. The case of genome editing governance (2021-2023).
