Syllabus

Starting from the Guglielmo Centueri's "De iure monarchiae", the seminar focuses on the ways and topics, by means of which the princes' councilors shape the image of "monarchs", shepherds of the people and not tyrants. The aim is to highlight the widespread idea of ​​a distinct from the royalty "monarchy" , circulating in the Europe of secular and ecclesiastical princes formally dependent on a superior authority.
