The research group «Tradition of Italian and Romance texts of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance» focuses on the study of the origins and developments of Romance languages and literatures in the 13th - 16th centuries, with particular attention to Italy and its authors in the context of European culture. The group's researches follow critical and philological methodologies, with specific attention to textual traditions and textual sources (manuscripts and prints), and make use of new digital tools for the humanities.
