Buona conoscenza della storia dell'arte greca e romana. Il corso si rivolge principalmente agli studenti del dottorato
Programma del corso
Il corso è dedicato al teatro antico, sia nella sua dimensione architettonica che nella sua complessa declinazione iconografica; si intende prendere in considerazione una casistica ampia, spaziando geograficamente dalla Grecia, alla Magna Grecia e Sicilia, fino a Roma, dalle prime attestazioni monumentali ai luoghi di spettacolo a Roma e nelle province.
Il corso è completato da una serie di seminari avanzati tenuti dalla Prof.ssa Caterina Maderna (Heidelberg).
