YEAR OF ENROLLMENT
Galina Selivanova has a BA with Honours in European Studies from Novosibirsk State Technical University and an MA in Sociology from Saint Petersburg State University and the University of Bielefeld. Between 2014 and 2015, she was engaged in several research projects analysing new media and social movements at the Laboratory for Internet Studies, located at the Higher School of Economics, Saint Petersburg. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, Scuola Normale Superiore, Italy. Her thesis focuses on civil society development, social movement outcomes and elections in Eastern Europe.
