YEAR OF ENROLLMENT
My research investigates how decision-making in social movement meetings and assemblies works. I am specifically interested in why movement democracy works in some groups, but does not in others. Beyond my dissertation project, I am interested in Democratic Theory, Political Economy, as well as Critical and Feminist approaches to Political Theory. I hold both an M.A. and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Marburg. During the academic year 2014-15, I was a visiting graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on a Hessen-Wisconsin scholarshipMy working languages are English, German, French, and Spanish.
