The Scuola Normale Superiore adheres to two National Doctorates:

• National Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence (PhD-AI.it)
  with administrative headquarters at the University of Pisa
• National Doctorate in Sustainable Development and Climate Change (SDC)
  with administrative headquarters at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS

Joint PhD at partner universities

• Joint doctorate in MOlecular Sciences for Earth and Space (MOSES) in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore Meridionale of the University of Naples Federico II (administrative headquarters: University Federico II).
• Joint doctorate in The HUman Mind and its Explanations: Language, Brain, and Reasoning (HUME), in collaboration with the University of Milan and the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS (administrative headquarters: University of Milan)
