Preliminary Information
The start of the academic year at the Normale is celebrated on October 18th. Lessons and seminars run from October to June, with breaks during Christmas and Easter holidays.
Incoming students
Students who wish to come and study at the Normale within the Erasmus/SEMP programme, or other exchange programmes governed by bilateral agreements between the Normale and a partner institution, must apply from their home university.
International Researchers and Professors
Researchers and professors from international universities wishing to visit the academic community of the Scuola Normale can apply for admission as Visiting Fellow at any time of the year.
Italian Courses
The Normale offers free Italian language courses to international students (Erasmus and non-Erasmus) on international mobility.
