Peer tutoring

Interaction and dialogue among the various components are a characterising feature of the SNS community. A fertile and innovative environment for studying, research and for human and intellectual development, stems from the dialogue between students of different generations and between students and teachers; the constant interaction among Normalisti and Normaliste coming from differing faculties paves the way to the acquisition of transversal skills.

To this tradition is now being added peer tutoring, which formalises an experience that has already been underway for several years.

The tutors are senior students chosen from the undergraduate and PhD courses: they are intended as figures of reference for informative and orientation activities designed to ensure a smooth passage towards the dynamics of work and life of the Scuola Normale. In particular, they are at the disposal of anyone needing information, dialogue or support regarding:

  • services active and available at the Scuola Normale and the ways of contact and  interaction (including hospitality, canteen and colleges, the Student Office , Career Services, psychological support and well-being, mobility, Internationalisation...)
  • teaching activities, seminars and interviews at the SNS

The peer tutors can be of particular help to the students of the first year, although  students of later years may also refer to them.

The list of the tutors to whom you can refer by writing to them at their SNS e-mail addresses is available here.
