Admission to single courses

Students, PhD candidates, and graduates from Italian and foreign universities, not enrolled in the programs of the Scuola Normale, may apply for admission to attend one or more courses included in the SNS educational offer for the academic year 2025/2026.

Admission procedure
📌 1. Completion of the online form

⭐ It is mandatory to use exclusively the dedicated Form for each Class:

🎓 Humanities Class – Discover the educational offer and access the dedicated form

🎓 Sciences Class – Discover the educational offer and access the dedicated form

📌 For the Political Science and Sociology Class only: please send an email (from your university email address) to didattica.firenze@sns.it indicating the title of the course you wish to enroll in, listed in the course offerings.

⭐ Access to the form is also possible via SPID (recommended option), and the form allows applications for only one course at a time. If you are interested in multiple courses, you must use the form separately for each course you wish to attend.

⭐ It is strongly recommended to always use the institutional email of your home university.

📌 2. Authorization

⭐ The request will be evaluated by the course instructor.

⭐ Only after receiving by email the authorization for admission will it be possible to proceed with the next steps.

📌 3. Registration on ESSE3SNS

⭐ After receiving authorization, proceed with enrollment through the ESSE3SNS portal: https://sns.esse3.cineca.it/Root.do (In case of authorization for multiple courses, registration must NOT be repeated).

⭐ If this is your first access, use the menu at the top right to register, then log in with your new credentials.

⭐ If you have already registered on our website, use your existing credentials or recover them via “Forgot password.”

⭐ After registration, send a confirmation email to: studenti.esterni@sns.it

Final certification
⭐ At the end of the course, and after successfully passing the final exam (if applicable), it will be possible to download from the portal:

🎓 the certificate of attendance

🎓 the certificate of exam results and the university credits earned

The certificate of exam completion or attendance must be submitted or delivered to the student office of your home university by the student.
