Coded Bias is a documentary that addresses algorithmic prejudice and face recognition technology errors discovered by MIT researcher Joy Buolamwini. The screening will be followed by an aperitivo.
The initiative is a pre-event of the workshop “AI GAP: Algorithmic Biases in Artificial Intelligence from Interdisciplinary Perspectives” that will take place between the 20th and 22nd of November 2023, in L'Aquila (Italy).
AI GAP is jointly organized between academics and PhD students at Scuola Normale Superiore, University of Pisa, University of L’Aquila and Fondazione Bruno Kessler.
