Programma
Beyond nature and culture?
The course aims to present and discuss some authors of the contemporary debate (Philippe Descola, Bruno Latour, Tim Ingold, Gísli Pálsson) who question, from different disciplinary perspectives, the Nature/Culture divide. The aim is to provide participants with the theoretical tools to investigate, in an interdisciplinary way, the theoretical consequences of a different recomposition of the traditional dualism.
Obiettivi formativi
The course aims to provide postgraduate students with the conceptual tools and interdisciplinary methodologies necessary to meet the challenges posed by the growing need for integration of social and biological aspects in a variety of fields of investigation, both in the humanities and social sciences and in the life sciences. The objective is to acquire the skills to question and analyse texts in depth and to develop collaborative interaction in seminar discussions.
