At the Normale, students are trained to think with rigour and method, to exchange ideas, to direct research towards the common good and knowledge towards public responsibility.
Here, ideas take shape through study, dialogue, experiences abroad, and community life. Here, people are trained to contribute to science, culture, innovation, institutions, and society as a whole.

At the Normale, the internal courses and board and lodging are free of charge; in addition, an annual study grant modulated on the basis of the ISEE (the assessment of the financial situation) is available to support students in less advantaged economic situations. As well as being able to make free use of the research structures and tools, the laboratories, and the library, students can receive contributions for study periods in Italy and abroad.

To donate your 5×1000 to the Scuola Normale Superiore means to support this effort and to invest in those who are constructing the tools to face the collective challenges of the future.
