Programma

The course for PhD students will address the theme of the course through two types of approach: on the one hand, a series of courses based on the reading and discussion of articles chosen for their methodological and conceptual interest in relation to the theme of the year (texts provided in advance and presented by one or two Phd students, with a long discussion time afterwards), on the other hand, a series of sessions focused on a recent publication in the presence of the author. As for the ordinary course, an attempt will be made to vary the contexts and methodologies and priority will be given to moments of critical comparison with ancient sources and modern analyses.

Obiettivi formativi

Learn about recent research developments.

Develop critical and argumentative skills.

Promote the co-construction of knowledge.

Become aware of the importance of a comparative and interdisciplinary approach.
