Transnational Governance
Gemma Gasseau is a political economist, currently Research Fellow at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the Scuola Normale Superiore and a member of the Centre on Social Movement Studies (COSMOS). Her current research focuses on sustainability, eco-social policies and envionmental politics.
She holds a PhD cum laude in Transnational Governance from Scuola Normale Superiore, focused on water governance in the EU. During her PhD, she held visiting position at several universities, including SciencesPo in Paris and Cornell University in the US.
Her work has been published in international journals, including Review of International Political Economy, Globalizations, and European Journal of International Relations. She is a board member of the Critical Political Economy Research Network of the European Sociological Association, and she is a founding member of the global network of academic and activists Just Water Futures.
