Syllabus
What are we not in agreement about when we disagree about logic (and what are we in agreement about when we are)? This module for advanced students aims to answer this question, which leads us directly into various issues concerning the nature of logic and the normative intuitions surrounding it. We will demonstrate how some of these issues have been overlooked in the traditional debate on monism versus pluralism in logic, leading to significant misunderstandings. Finally, we will highlight the relevance of some recent technical results for the issue of disagreement in logic
