Syllabus
The course will examine and critically assess the theoretical foundations of labour process analysis, around the themes of control, consent, resistance, as well as its more recent empirical applications, on issues such as the emotional labour process, the link to comparative political economy and global value chains, the new service economy, new technologies and algorithmic management.
