Associazione Normalisti

The Associazione Alunni, Ricercatori e Professori della Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (Associazione Normalisti) was established in 1997  by a founding Committee led by Alessandro Faedo, who aimed to make it a meeting place and instrument of dialogue between different generations of “Normalisti”.

To date the Associazione Normalisti encompasses over a thousand members: students, lecturers, researchers and alumni.

The former presidents of the Associazione Normalisti were:

The Bollettino "Normale" (The “Normale” Bulletin)

A periodical published every six months by the Associazione Normalisti , the Bollettino includes contributions by students, alumni, lecturers and friends of the Normale. The Bollettino was started in 1998, and in 2012 became an online periodical, active from the end of 2013 onwards.

The first director of the website was Bruno Barsella, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Associazione (a student from 1953 to 1957, and a professor at the Department of Physics of the University of Pisa).
The present administrators are Alessandro Marchetti (former councillor and former student of Chemistry at the Scuola Normale Superiore), and Lorenzo Losa (councillor and former PhD student of Mathematics at the Scuola Normale Superiore).
