The deputy Director

The Deputy Director assists the Director in the exercising of his functions, and replaces him in the case of his absence or impediment. He is nominated by the Director, upon consultation with the Governing Council, from among the professors  of the Normale belonging to an academic structure different from his own.
The present Deputy Director is also entrusted with the tasks involved with research.
