Andrea Beghini (Genoa, 1989) studied at the University of Genoa, the University of Pisa and the “Scuola Normale Superiore”. He received his PhD in co-tutorship between the University of Pisa and the “Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes” (Paris) and the diploma in Greek paleography from the “Scuola Vaticana di Paleografia, Diplomatica e Archivistica”. He has been fellow at the “Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Storici” (Naples) and at the “Scuola Superiore di Studi Storici” (San Marino). He is qualified as associate professor of Greek Language and Literature and of Classical Philology. Since 2021, he is adjunct professor at the University of Genoa. Since 2023, he is fixed-term researcher of Greek language and literature at the “Scuola Normale Superiore”.

He is mainly interested in textual criticism, ancient pseudo-epigraphy, history of ancient literary and philosophical culture, and history of classical scholarship.
