Science with the forthcoming Euclid galaxy survey

AbstractIn this talk I will present the main science expected from the Euclid mission. In particular, I will focus on its two main cosmological probes, namely the clustering of spectroscopic galaxies, and the combination of weak-lensing, clustering of photometric galaxies and their cross-correlation. I will also shortly present the expected science performance from secondary probes, such as galaxy clusters and cosmic voids, and the preparation of the data analysis pipeline in view of the forthcoming Euclid launch in summer 2023.
