Purposes

Support to the Director of the Scuola, as its legal representative, for the application of the regulations regarding waste management. Support to the Director of the Scuola in his role of employer for the legal obligations concerning prevention, health and safety in the workplace.

Main activities

Environment management

  • Support to the legal representative and to the ADR Consultant for the definition and application of the management procedures and the fulfilment of the legal obligations linked to the production of waste (urban and special) by the SNS.
  • Support to the ADR consultant for the writing up of reports regarding the reception/shipment of hazardous goods in compliance with current legislation.
  • Support to the legal representative and to the ADR consultant for the completion and forwarding of the annual MUD (unified environmental declaration form) pursuant to prevailing legislation.
  • Support to the RUP (single manager) of the contract regarding the micro-collection, transport and treatment of special wastes produced at the Scuola.
  • Support to the "Gruppo di Lavoro Rifiuti" (“Waste Work Group”) (GdL), formed for the purposes of supporting the legal representative of the Scuola for activities connected to the traceability of waste using the RENTRI system.

Safety management

  • Support to the employer, the SPP (Prevention and Protection Service) and the RSPP (the Prevention and Protection Service manager) for activities connected to risk assessment.
  • Collaboration with the RUP (single manager) of the Scuola for the preparation of the joint document for the assessment of interference risks (DUVRI) for works, services and supplies contracts.
  • Support to the Prevention and Protection Service and to the RSPP (the Prevention and Protection Service manager) for the organisation of emergency teams and for the carrying out of the evacuation drills required by prevailing law.
  • Support to the Prevention and Protection Service and to the RSPP (the Prevention and Protection Service manager) for communication to the competent structures of the SNS regarding the necessities of planning, design, implementation and monitoring of works on buildings and systems.
  • The supplying of safety signs on request of the structures supervising the carrying out of works and maintenance, with operative indications for their installation or on the basis of SPP surveys.
  • Organisation of the information and training of SNS workers, including by SNS personnel in possession of the necessary requisites, on prevention, health and safety for all those working at the SNS on the basis of the training programme proposed by the RSPP (the Prevention and Protection Service manager).
  • Support to the employer for the management of periodic risk prevention and protection meetings.
  • Support to the structures of the Scuola for the supplying of Personal and Collective Protective Equipment and of safety and first aid devices.
  • Support to the staff management structure regarding activities relating to the health protocol leading to qualification for the task, in co-ordination with the medical officer of the Scuola, and support to the latter regarding the submission of the reporting documentation in compliance with current legislation.
