The service deals with the admission and reception of users and with activities relating to the lending service, in addition to the management of the SNS library storage.

Main activities

• Admission of external and internal users in accordance with the provisions of the Library regulations.
• Co-ordination of the contracted services and relations with the contracting company.
• Back office activities relating to the lending service.
• Co-ordination of the “Reference online” service.
• Management of the Ospedaletto library storage, with organisation and rearrangement of the shelf material.
• Distribution of material not available in open access, mail sorting, magnetisation of new acquisitions.
• Support to the management of specialist sectors and services (such as the reorganisation of the material, small replenishments, searches for volumes not found).
• Copies (photocopies and scans) and retrieval of shelf material for the interlibrary services.
