The research of Rosario Freire Saray focuses on feminist movements and political practices, with particular attention to Chile and Italy. Drawing on multi-sited feminist ethnography, her work examines how feminist actors develop strategies of resistance in changing political and socio-economic contexts, as well as the historical and transnational connections that shape contemporary feminist mobilisation. Her research interests include social movements, feminist politics, political practices, gender and politics, and the relationship between feminist movements and the far right.
