Syllabus

The theme of a social imaginary acquired central stage in the 1970s thanks to such diverse figures as Arendt, Castoriadis, Ricoeur, Baczko and others. We will start from its premises in the utopian thought (e.g., Bloch) and in Freudian psychoanalysis and focus in particular on Castoriadis and Ricoeur.
