Self and I. Subjectivity and Identity in modern and contemporary philosophy (Ordinario)
Prerequisiti
The class is open to whoever wants to follow, from freshmen to Ph.D students. It is, however, particularly recommended for B.A. students. There are no prerequisites.
Programma
We will read some texts by modern philosophers. In the first part we will focus on select passages by Descartes, Locke, Hume, Kant, in the second part by Hegel, Freud and Husserl.
Obiettivi formativi
The goal is to acquire the skills to interrogate and work on texts and to develop a co-operative interaction in a seminar-style discussion
