Abstract
We are currently experiencing the two main transformations in computing for decades. Generative artificial intelligence and quantum computing not only accelerate computations, but also allow us to deal with previously unapproachable problems in new and useful ways. Both technologies will impact synergistically on all our research areas. In this presentation, I will explain how quantum computing and artificial intelligence are becoming new essential tools in the hands of scientists, opening a new era of accelerated scientific discoveries.
