PRIN Hybrid 2026
The PRIN 2026 Hybrid call funds three-year projects (€1.2-1.7 million) aimed at promoting multidisciplinarity and the hybridization of knowledge. Integration between the SH macro-sector (Social Sciences and Humanities) and at least one of PE (Physical Sciences and Engineering) or LS (Life Sciences) is mandatory within 5 strategic themes (AI, cybersecurity, quantum tech, HPC, and health). Universities, MUR entities, and AFAM institutions are eligible. The Principal Investigator (PI), with a 20% minimum commitment, must be a professor or researcher. 15% of funds are reserved for PIs under 40. The team must consist of 4-6 units from different entities. Participation is excluded for those applying to the PRIN 2026 call. Eligible costs include personnel, equipment, and operations, with 45% overheads. The grant is paid as a single 100% advance.
