Palazzo D'Ancona
Built in the 1960s as lodgings for the students of the Normale, it stretches over five floors with a total surface area of 3000 square metres. Inaugurated in 1971, it is dedicated to Alessandro D’Ancona, director of the Normale from 1892 to 1900.
Today it houses the cafeteria (which extends over two floors and provides 354 spaces), offices and studios, the Smart laboratory, two classrooms (“Marie Curie” and “Delio Cantimori”), and a meeting room.
