The web sites of the SNS
The web sites of the Scuola Normale Superiore are its main institutional communication tool.
sns.it is the portal that transmits information; if you need further, more detailed information, you can refer to Amministrazione Trasparente, for contents regarding the transparency of Italian public institutions, and NormaleNews for news.
The institutional web sites disseminate information and contents regarding teaching, research, the Third Mission, internationalisation and administrative activity, and they provide, through the management platforms, the main telematics services. They aspire to principles of transparency, participation and accessibility*, and ensure an optimal circulation of complete and qualified information between the Scuola Normale Superiore and its users.
They also take on the task of publishing deeds and administrative measures ** and of conveying the minimal contents identified by prevailing legislation.***
In addition to the institutional web sites, there are those of the structures of the Scuola Normale Superiore (Centres, Laboratories, Administrative Structures), which – in a coherent communicative framework – transmit specific information as to their activities.
The Scuola Normale Superiore web site system promotes the sharing of its institutional Mission, in order to enhance its image and brand at local, national and international level, also in interaction with other communication tools.
Its complex structure must therefore be traced back to a model of identity favouring its recognisability in the outside world and consolidating the sense of belonging within its walls.
Within the framework of the guidelines for the public administration web sites, the principles underlying the planning and management of the web sites of the Scuola Normale Superiore are as follows:
- accessibility;
- usability;
- simplification of language and procedures;
- completeness and correctness of the information;
- quality of the contents;
- constant updating.
Wherever the web site contains information or requests necessitating the insertion of a user's personal data, the latter will be processed exclusively in full respect for the prevailing legislation regarding the protection of personal data.
Specific on-line services or web pages may contain particular rules of functioning or conduct in relation to the services carried out or the defined purposes. For the sake of public interest or the protection of privacy, the Scuola Normale Superiore reserves the right to utilise selective forms of communication meant exclusively for determined or determinable subjects, including by reserved access to web pages or web services.
