Uxia Reboiro Del Rio I Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona: Anti-gender violence and the targeting of feminist advocates: Experiences from Spain
This paper examines how anti-gender violence is experienced by feminist advocates in Spain, focusing on how hostility becomes embedded across everyday, institutional, and digital spaces. Drawing on qualitative interviews with feminist advocates, the paper explores the different forms that anti-gender violence takes and how these experiences affect feminist activism and participation. The paper argues that anti-gender violence operates as a continuum across spaces, actors, and political issues, connecting different forms of hostility that shape the conditions under which feminist advocacy takes place.
