This workshop focuses on borders as spaces of solidarity, political contention and criminalization. The discussion is enriched by the contributions of three prominent scholars in the morning session, whereas the afternoon roundtable benefits from the points of view of several representatives of solidarity and contentious initiatives operating at different European borders.
