FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON QUANTUM GASES, FUNDAMENTAL INTERACTIONS, AND COSMOLOGY - PISA

ABSTRACT

In short, we aim to bring together scientists from these three research areas, which are living a very fertile time per se and in cross-disciplinary connection with each other. In the format, the keynote speeches are a total of nine, three per day (each morning), one from  each of the three involved research areas. Considering the Conference goal, the idea is that keynote speakers could provide an overview of the main open problems in their own research field, with a focus to those open problems which can be at the border with the other two areas: they should discuss the ideas in an inspiring manner and without jargon, and encouraging cross-discussions. The talks on specific topics (see the list in the conference-concept file) would take place in the afternoon, according to proposals from scientists who decide to attend. We will encourage young scientists to attend.
