Genomics in the Age of AI
Abstract: For once the reality may live up to the hype. Artificial Intelligence is already making fundamental changes to how we do science, and within a few years the idea of performing research without AI-assisted tools will seem as foreign to us as going about our days without the internet. In this talk, I will introduce the ways that AI is already accelerating biomedical research, give examples from the work of myself and colleagues that illustrate the promise of the technology, and look forward to what we may expect in the near future.
