Tensionless AdS3/CFT2 duality

Abstract
The seminar will review general aspects of the AdS/CFT duality, and then explain a specific set-up in which the duality can be proven: string theory on AdS3 x S3 x T4 with one unit of NS-NS flux is exactly dual to the symmetric orbifold of T4. It will  explain how switching on RR flux in the AdS bulk can be described in terms of the dual CFT, and then use this perspective to establish, from first principles, that this deformation is indeed integrable. As it turns out the symmetric orbifold contains both the magnons describing excitations in the T4, as well as those associated to AdS3 x S3.
