Target audience: students of Italian and non-Italian universities enrolled in
courses of Undergraduate Degree in Cultural Heritage or Classics, Master's Degree in Archaeology, new graduates, PhD candidates or young researchers. 
Admission requirements: enrollment in courses of Undergraduate Degree, Master's Degree, PhD; Undergraduate or Master's Degrees in the aforementioned disciplines; Phd in Classics.

The course “Ceramics in Archaeology. Theoretical and Practical Approaches to the Study of Ancient Material Culture” aims to introduce the students to the analysis and interpretation of ancient objects. The program includes seminar sessions on the concept of “material culture” and approaches to the study of archaeological objects in context, and laboratorial activities on authentic archaeological finds from fieldwork. The following competences and abilities will be reached: description, classification, documentation and interpretation of archaeological materials in context.

Participation in the course does not entail enrollment fees.
