    Organized by Scuola Normale Superiore, in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore di Studi Avanzati della Sapienza and the Scuola Galileiana di Studi Superiori dell’Università di Padova, the seasonal school is funded by the PNRR through MERITA, the network-for-talent project*.

    Target audience: PhD students, early-career researchers active in the field of quantum science and technology

    The school “Quantum Science and Technology” aims to provide up-to-date doctoral-level training in the field. Lectures delivered by leading experts will cover the main topics of quantum science, ranging from foundational principles to applications in quantum communication, quantum computation, and quantum sensing.

    The school will consist of two separate sections:

    • May 4-8, Theoretical Section, focusing on theoretical aspects of quantum science and technology;
    • May 11-15, Experimental Section, focusing on experimental implementations and methodologies.

    Application and Scholarship Information
    Participation in the School does not entail enrollment fees.
    Applicants must apply via the application form, attaching an up-to-date CV and a motivational statement for each section they wish to attend no later than April 7, 2026.
    Admission to the course includes participation in lectures, as well as meals and accommodation in San Miniato. Participants may apply for a contribution to travel expenses, if they have no access to alternative funding. Limited resources are available for these grants.
