Uniform boundedness for rational points on curves
Abstract
The colloquium will discuss the interplay between arithmetic and geometry in the theory of algebraic varieties, with focus on the distribution of rational points of curves. Some recent progress in the field, and some leading open conjectures, will be described.
The event will take place in person.
