    Elastic scattering and proton form factors. Experiments of Hofstadter . Cross section at “large” momentum transfer shows deviations. The momentum transfer is the correct variables for describing the scattering cross section. Proton and neutrons are not pointlike and their form factors are the same.Inelastic e-p scattering, W1 and W2 form factors. Comparing muon and proton x-sections . Bjorken (scaling) intuition of form factors function of x only. SLAC experiments measuring proton and neutron form factors.
